Reese Witherspoon seriously pursued her acting career after enrolment at Stanford University. Early successes were with films such as Pleasantville, Election and Legally Blonde. However, it was her performance as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde's box-office hit that really was the start of her acting career. Witherspoon won her first Academy Award in 2005 for her part on Walk the Line. Water for Elephants, This Means War, and Wild are some of her recent films. In the following years, she was a part of several TV shows, including House of Lies Whitney, Better Call Saul and The Invisible Man. Also, she was an actor on The Dictator (1998) and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2006). Alongside her acting profession, Ms. Williams is a gifted painter who has displayed her artwork in several galleries.
